The Mission of the South Carolina School for the Deaf Alumni Association is to support the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB) by staying connected with our alma mater, contributing to the SCSDB with various events and activities, and being role models for future alumni of our deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

- The SCSDAA Board of Directors who are responsible for the bylaws, events, fundraising, and other activities of the Alumni Association.

Who can be involved?
Anyone! There are two types of membership and we encourage anyone invested in past, present, or future students to join!
- Alumni:
- Individuals must be former students of SCSDB.
- May attend board meetings.
- May voice opinions and vote on the passing of/revision of bylaws.
- Eligible to run for and hold an officer position.
- May join committees.
- $10 annual membership fee or $50 one-time lifetime membership fee.
- Associate:
- Membership is open to any individual.
- May attend board meetings.
- May voice opinions.
- May join committees.
- $8 annual membership fee or $40 one-time lifetime membership fee.
