SCSDB's Jackson earns another honor South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind's Mariah Jackson
South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind sprinter Mariah Jackson has been named Region II-1A Female Co-Athlete of the Year for the 2010-2011 school year. Jackson, who also played volleyball and basketball, won the state championship in the long jump and was a member of the winning 4x100-meter relay team. She was also runner-up in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Christ Church basketball player and Yale signee Hayden Latham was the other co-athlete of the year.
